How Do I Revise McAfee My Account Email Address Details ?

Changing the McAfee Account Email address is not a difficult task as it sounds. Follow the below mentioned steps to modify the email account.

  •  Sign in to your McAfee account.
  •  At the top of your My Account page, choose My Account, and then tap on My Profile. 
  •  At the top of the Account Information part, tap on Update.
  •  Type in your new email address, and then tap on Save.

If you are not able to log in to My Account at home.mcafee.com, follow these instructions below:

  • Find your registered email address, or 
  • Change your password 

Option 1: Find your registered email address
You should use your registered email address to sign in to home.mcafee.com. Your registered email address can be obtained in your product:

  • Open your McAfee Antivirus product.
  • Tap on Account, or you’re Subscription.
  • Your registered email address is mentioned, together with your subscription data:
  • Use that email address to sign in to My Account at home.mcafee.com.

You can also recover your email address from the website:

  • Go to home.mcafee.com.
  • Place your mouse over My Account.
  • Click My Account.
  • Under the Log In button:
  • Tap on Forgot Your Email Address?
  • Follow the on-screen steps. You will require contacting Technical Support to end the process.

Option 2: Reset your password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it:

  • Go to home.mcafee.com.
  • Place your mouse over My Account.
  • Tap on My Account.
  • Under the Log In button:
  • Tap on Forgot Your Password?
  • Enter your registered email address.
  • Click Send Email:
  • Check your inbox for an email with the subject: Reset your McAfee password.
  • Click the link in this email to reset your password.

Important Information:

  • Click the link within 72 hours, or it will end. If this happens, continue the method to get a new email.
  • If you do not see the email, verify your Spam folder.
  • When you move email out of the Spam folder, links in that email might still be blocked by your email client. If this occurs:
  • Make sure that donotreply@mcafee.com is on your secure senders list to stop McAfee emails going to the Spam folder.
  • Repeat the Reset your password method to get a new email. 
  • Click the link in the new email to reset your password.
